About Us

Kiama & District Stronger Community

The KDSC is a community group that has been established by the community to work in with and compliment current community initiatives. Many Mental Health organisations, sporting groups and community groups have joined to become supporters of the KDSC.

We are already working in with these groups, including the Area Health Service, The Suicide Prevention Collaborative and Kiama Council to further support them and the community.

The focus of the KDSC is essentially two fold;

1. Promoting and assisting with the co-ordination of whats happening in our community to support mental wellbeing. We aim to create even greater awareness and participation of these great initiatives

2. To further represent the needs of the community, particularly our youth. Hence the survey. The survey is a starting point for us as an additional method of engagement with the community

The KDSC is a community based organisation. Created by our community for our community. You are an important part of this great community and we welcome your support and assistance.

Please feel free to go to the website or the Facebook page for more information on how you can get involved or leave a message for direct contact.
